Text Box: Our next show is completely different, we will be performing George Orwell’s “animal farm”. This was a new adaptation by Tatty Hennessy written for the National Theatre in 2025, we are so lucky to get a licence to perform this. The script is the best I have read for many years and I am very excited to direct it. We are hoping to have live music to accompany some of the performances by a local up and coming young guitarist. The book is on the GCSE reading list so what a great way for young people to see the book come to life. We have put a PG rating on it as the subject matter is not suitable for really young children. Text Box: In October we ran one of our famous quiz nights, which was very well attended, these are so popular we are going to hold one 4 times a year. The next one is February 14th- that’s right Valentine’s Day – save your money on expensive meals out and join us for a bit of fun instead, teams up to 10 people. Bring your own drinks & nibbles. Our November show “Allo Allo” was so popular every performance sold out a month in advance, which gave such a great atmosphere to this exceedingly silly show. 1980’s humour is still alive and well in Essex.
