Text Box: In September EEP celebrated their Diamond Anniversary, 60 Years of entertaining audiences in Essex. We held a celebratory party on 23rd September with food and dancing. A great time was had by all… Our March show “NOTES FROM A SMALL ISLAND” by Bill Bryson is already being rehearsed, with 14 members playing 110 characters… This is quite a challenge. We are one of the first Amateur groups to produce this show as it was only written in 2023, adapted from one of Bill’s enormously popular books. Tickets are on sale now ! Although the Theatre is credit card only, if you wish to pay by cash or cheque you can contact us through this website and we will do our best to accommodate you. Finally we are holding one of our Very Popular Quiz Nights on Saturday 17th February 2024 so put the date in your diary. Hope to see you very soon... Hazel Latcham (Chairman)

Text Box: Our November 2023 show “WAITING FOR GOD” was unfortunately postponed due to the discovery of RAAC in the roof of the Dixon…..this will now go ahead in July 10th—13th 2024. Any tickets already purchased will remain valid for this date. We were featured on the BBC, One Show discussing the way forward for our group in the light of these problems and rehearsals of “Waiting for God” were filmed, The presenter loved the show, and tickets are on sale now. Because of the postponement, we put together a Christmas variety show which we performed in our rehearsal hall, Eastwood Memorial Hall. Although put together very quickly it was a fantastic success, and allowed us to showcase members both young and old. We have already been asked when we will be doing another of these shows !!
